I suspect it's something to do the enabling the REGEX functions from from
the normally ASCII PASE environment to be used in the EBCDIC environment.

It's probably easier and safer to convert any EBCDIC CCSID to Unicode
before doing the REGEX.

One problem with waiting until you upgrade before adding new LPPs is that
you have to remember to add them BEFORE you load/apply PTF's. If you
carefully follow the upgrade instructions it clearly lays this out.
Another is remembering that you wanted to add this LPP. :-)
