Dan:
While not exactly what you are looking for, this will help:

https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/ssw_ibm_i_73/rzahc/rzahcswsmedialabel.htm

It shows you what is on the standard distribution media. If a key is
required, then certainly there is a cost to the product. Most of the
products that do not require keys are no extra cost, although sometimes you
have to order them in order to download them.

Does IBM have a link that would allow me to search for an LPP ID, such as
5770DE1 and get a full description of the base product and all its
features? And, if prices aren't available, whether something is free
(included in the base price)?

I really don't understand our sysadmin's reluctance to install all of the
free features that he thinks we don't need. Earlier this month, I
mentioned here that we don't have 5770SS1 option 7 (Example Tools Library)
installed. Seriously? How much bloody disk space do you think you're
saving on a 1.6TB system? As mentioned in another thread, 5770SS1 opt 39
is required for a certain SQL function.

So, it would be nice to be able to research this information, and to know
whether an LPP/feature is free or not before I ask to have something
installed.
