The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
Hey Jon,
If you're open to alternatives, you might consider using SSHFS. This
lets you mount the IFS on your Mac (its available for Windows, Linux,
etc too) using the SSH server that runs on IBM i. In my experience this
is much more stable than using SMB/CIFS (i.e. Windows Networking) and a
lot more secure than using NFS (which really should only be used in a
controlled environment such as a VPN or secured LAN)
SSHFS works really well, and uses the underlying cryptography and
security of SSH.
I found this tutorial with a quick Google. Check it out!
