Ah, OK.

I shorthanded that just a little bit too much.
QSYS2.JOBLOG_INFO is a "UDTF" not a "VIEW". Therefore you have to do it a
little differently.

SELECT * FROM TABLE(QSYS2.JOBLOG_INFO('291425/ROB/ROBHQ1')) A

OK, I tried to do this:

CREATE TABLE MYLIB.QEZJOBLOG AS (
SELECT * FROM QSYS2.JOBLOG_INFO) WITH DATA

in ACS run SQL scripts substituting my library for MYLIB. As I expected,
it
threw up on QSYS2.JOBLOG_INFO stating file JOBLOG_INFO was not found. It's
11 characters long so there can't be a file of that name. Am I being
dense?

I think in the early versions of OS/400 the output queue QEZJOBLOG
didn't
exist and we all had to do something like CHGPRTF QPJOBLOG OUTQ(...) to
stop them from appearing in user output queues.
So, yes, we can adapt to change.
