The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

John thanks - understood... however, do those different non-iseries sftp
interfaces require a differenct keystroke pattern (or delay time)?
No. It would be impractical on many levels. Not least of which is that
a server cannot control the speed or quality of the connection of the
clients that are connecting to it. It would be like Gmail requiring
you to type in your password from your home computer with a certain
speed or pattern, and if any slight hiccup happens anywhere between
your keyboard and Google's servers, you can't log in.
Though, as a purely academic notion, I have read that there has been
some effort to incorporate typing patterns as a local login security
measure (where the lag due to transmission of signals would be
negligible). Someone who knows my password, but doesn't type with the
same speed or pattern as I do would not be able to get in when these
measures are in place. Fascinating stuff.
Sorry for the digression. Expect just "spoofs" keystrokes. It's just
an electronic version of your fingers (and eyes, to recognize
prompts). If the place you're logging into doesn't care how fast you
type, then it doesn't care how fast Expect types either.
