“Up to” when the system was busy. Remember you need to keep you index database up to-date for each item moved which can be batch updated if they are all in the same index group.

I am in the middle of a project doing the opposite. I used a query on the indexing database with in a SP that then runs the QSH command, mv, run in SP QCMDEXC. Then I assume it’s done correctly and and I update the index database entry.

Time effort is actually quite a lot of effort. I think it was up to 5 seconds per document.
