We also use Aldon LMi as our change management. We are, however, testing out ansible (the version without the tower module) to do other things for us, such as automating and scheduling scripts and other data collections tasks. It will run on the I-series. Easier if you have python installed, but ways to run it if you do not.

Thanks, Larry

We're using Aldon LMi as well. We've had it so long we usually refer to it as Aldon CMS (Change Management System). It has up to 4 levels-- programmer development / Integration / QA / Production. The idea is that each higher level your change is closer to being golden. The QA is where users should be able to work with the objects in an as near to production environment as possible.

LMi has a "Deployment" section that handles distribution and installation to other systems.

What does everyone use for there application deployment on the I series ? right now we are use savrstobj from that we type in on the command line from a list of object we need to take over.

I am looking to use https://www.ansible.com/ for our Linux and Docker side. But do not see anything about if it can be used on the I series.

Thanks
