Right, 70 days. I consider that a "try and buy" although IBM does not.
Every so often they announce an official try and buy product for some LPP
or other and it's basically the same thing as loading it up and seeing if
you like it before the 70 day key is required.

Far too many people load all and don't (knowingly) try them until after
the key has already expired. I think their goal is to ensure they have
them if they need them and do not need any disruptive IPLs or reapply of
PTFs.
