We back it up to tape daily, with an offsite tape weekly. We do a monthly
SAVE 21 offsite as well.
I don't know a good way to check the IFS for file changes.

How often are you backing it up as a part of a full save. Do you have a
way to see how often the directory and sub directories are changing.
