I'm finalizing my P7 to P9 upgrade plan.
One of the open issues are the SSD drives.

I'm currently running 3 Halcyon joblog monitors, which have a huge impact on Disk Total GB Written/Day.
There will be probably be more joblog monitors added, as needed.

These joblog monitors are the single, largest factor in estimating future SSD usage / life.

When the Halcyon joblog monitors are NOT running, I average 600gb Written/Day
When the Halcyon joblog monitors are running, Disk Total written/day jumps to 11,000gb written/day.

I've reopened my case CAS-0010098687 with Haclyon support.
There was also an enhancement request, CHGOB7B.
Waiting for answers.

Would any of the IBM catalogs/services be a possible improvement for the joblog monitor?
Any thoughts from the group relating to SSD configuration?

Thank You
