Found it
You have to run the RTVDIRINFO command first

Using RTVDIRINFO you can use the following:

SELECT DISTINCT COUNT(Dirinfo.Qaezd0001o.Qezdiridx) AS Tot
,(SUM(Dirinfo.Qaezd0001o.Qezalcsize) / 1024) AS Block_Size_1k
-- the above is similar to "du -H -bk"
,Dirinfo.Qaezd0001o.Qezdiridx INDEX
,Dirinfo.Qaezd0001d.Qezdirnam1 Directory_Name
FROM Dirinfo.Qaezd0001o INNER
JOIN Dirinfo.Qaezd0001d ON
Dirinfo.Qaezd0001o.Qezdiridx = Dirinfo.Qaezd0001d.Qezdiridx
GROUP BY Dirinfo.Qaezd0001o.Qezdiridx
,Dirinfo.Qaezd0001d.Qezdirnam1
ORDER BY
Block_Size_1k DESC;

*this was adapted from a post on this list.

I do know that using IBM Navigator for i, otherwise known as
http://youribmi:2001, will expand and tell you the contents of the
symbolic links also. So you may not want to use that.

PRTDIRINF will not expand the symbolic links. You have to run
RTVDIRINF first. We schedule a run on a weekly basis.
