Two raid sets. Each with 4 drives active and 1 hot spare.
Since raid eats up one drive you have
(283GB * 3 drive/raid set) * 2 raid sets) = 1.698TB useable. I'm not sure
how they generated that lower number.
If either number is plenty of space then ok. Otherwise I might question
why two raid sets and not one. Maybe our situations differ as I always
have my IBM i disks in an expansion unit and not in the system unit.
