Our system requirements are very much less than yours Rob!

This is a new P9 S914 4-Core P05 group and is limited to 10 Drives.

Providing the ASP02 was going to mean on day 1 all 10 drive slots were used
- no option for future growth.

If I run the backups (that is what ASP02 was used for) to ASP01 I will have
3 drive slots free on day 1.

That is why I would like to be able to put the image catalogue on spinny
drives preferably.

Maybe time for a RFE ?

Thanks

Don Brown

If you already have it on ASP02, and have a familiarity with user ASPs,
then why the push to move it back to the system ASP?

Is there a way to force an image catalogue to be on spinny disk as

to SSD if there is only on ASP ?

We currently have a ASP02 where we save virtual tape images to.

Just looking at P9 upgrade and thinking of having single ASP but would
like
the saved images to be on spinny disk.

Thanks
