With all these issues we have been having with our SQL connections to the IBM i, I went ahead and changed the TCP Keep Alive setting in CHGTCPA from the default of 120 minutes down to 60 minutes. Well stale IP connections are dropping after one hour. So far no adverse effect.
Has anyone else changed these defaults? CHGTCPA TCPKEEPALV(60) If so, what do you have set?
