The user profile needs to have special authorities *IOSYSCGF and *ALLOBJ
You change this via CHGUSRPRF.
(This is usually a QSECOFR task).

Subject: Web Admin permissions/roles

I'm trying to connect to my IBM Web Administration for i (http://myIBMi:2001/HTTPAdmin/). I'm getting this error:
ZUI_50044: IBM i user profile &1 does not have *IOSYSCFG and *ALLOBJ authorities or has not been granted permission which is required to use the administration interface of IBM HTTP Server for i.

I went back thru the archives and found an old discussion. It led me to this IBM link, https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/ssw_ibm_i_73/rzaie/rzaieconadminwebadmin.htm. The link talks about roles and permissions, but I don't see anything about how to actually set them. Has anyone done this?

TIA
