< Java 7 and 8 will continue to be supported on IBM i. No impact to IBM i customers.

Does "supported" imply security updates will be sent via PTFs by IBM.

And what if the IBM I is processing credit cards, which uses Java.
Factor in the PCI compliancy issues.

Where does that leave us?
