On the IBM i side we often take telnet for granted but there really are
considerations to start a telnet session on IBM i. Perhaps these same
considerations apply to 3270 telnet? Considerations such as:
- secured or unsecured telnet?
- Autoconfig or manually configured devices?
- z equivalent of STRTCPSVR *TELNET
- connection allowed by firewall on the telnet port(s)?
