Hi,

When I use the SQL generator tools from ACS or directly on the system I'm
not able to retrieve the system name of an SQL global variable.

We have for example the following variable defined on our system:

CREATE VARIABLE GV_ENVIRONMENT
FOR SYSTEM NAME GVENV
CHAR(6)
DEFAULT '' ;

However when I try to retrieve the SQL for this variable:

CALL QSYS2.GENERATE_SQL('GV_ENVIRONMENT', 'CMKASDTA', 'VARIABLE',
SYSTEM_NAME_OPTION => '1', REPLACE_OPTION => '0');

Then the system name is not returned:

CREATE VARIABLE GV_ENVIRONMENT
CHAR(6)
DEFAULT '' ;

I think this is an omission and I would like to open a PMR for the issue.
Do others experience the same?
We are on 7.3 and current on PTF's.

Regards,
-Arco
