I asked this about a month ago and have no response so far.

Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Or I'll open a support call.

Thanks.

This is regarding the message monitor function in Navigator for i, NOT the
one in Management Central in the System i Navigator windows app. V7R3.

I set up a message monitor for QSYSOPR inquiry messages. It sends me
emails and a text if one occurs. I want it to ignore CPA7025, however, and
not do anything. There are "Message Set 1" and "Message Set 2" that can be
set up.

So I made "Message Set 1" for CPA7025 and told it to do nothing. Message
Set 2 is set to "All" and sends the emails and text. I thought maybe
CPA7025 would not trigger Message Set 2 because it was already handled by
Message Set 1.

But evidently ALL means ALL because CPA7025 still triggers when Message
Set 2 fires.

Does anyone know of a way to omit messages when doing a message set in a
message monitor? Short of writing a CL program? I don't see one.

Thanks.
