The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

Python and xlsxwriter?
For writing CSVs, there is Python's built-in csv module. XlsxWriter is
potentially an "even better" solution, but it also could be much, much
worse (for example, if the resulting file is not meant to be opened in
Excel but rather processed by some other program which is really
counting on receiving CSV and not able to cope with a true Excel
workbook).

This is clearly the simplest option, if it satisfies the requirements.
It all depends on how strict the requirements are. At least on 7.1,
the RMVBLANK(*TRAILING) option leaves one blank for empty fields.
