Sensitivity:

I'm not sure what you mean by return code, but this will get you all the
messages whose severity is greater than 0 for all active jobs (assuming
you have *JOBCTL to access their job log):

select a.job_name, b.*
from table(qsys2.active_job_info()) a,
lateral (select * from table(qsys2.joblog_info(a.job_name)) x) b where
severity > 0;
