Yepp sorry haven't follow this tread too long - sounds correct as you obviously imported the file to the /tmp directory.
If you ( still on target ) run:
ls -ltra
total 176
-rw------- 1 sysparr 0 406 feb 14 2017 authorized_keys
The authorities on the authorized_keys looks like above?

stefan, first of all the target host (the sftp server) does not contain that filename in the .ssh directory...
there is a step in Scott Klements tutorial that say to do this (on an iseries sshd server), to import the key to the .ssh directory...
