Forget Installation Manager. One of the whole points of ACS was not to
really integrate as well so that the average user could update it. A huge
problem with the deprecated Windows version was that the automatic updates
would not work with any newer version of Windows due to onerous security
restrictions.
Just going slightly tangential...
Ensure that you only have one version of ACS on your system, or that you
are using the version you think you are. This has affected a BUNCH of
people. They upgrade only to find out they don't have the new function.
Verify that the Help, About says the right version.
After that a google search for "how to update IBM access client solutions"
and pick the first hit after the ad should get you started.
