Diego makes a good suggestion

First, The English version is "Statements" bit "Sentences"

After taking the snapshot I think you need to runt he Analyze function;
after that you can view the statements in the snapshot.

Locate your jobs in the list of statements using the time and/or job number
as a guide. Once you've located the statement(s) if you click on it you get
even more information about what was being done.

That will allow you to compare the statements that were actually run to
check they were actually identical - you can also see the variables that
were plugged in there if there are placeholders etc.

1) Taking the snapshot:

STRSQL
CALL qsys2.dump_plan_cache('QGPL','SNAPSHOT1')

2) Using Navigator

Go to Databases-> <Name of your DB> -> SQL Plan Cache -> SQL Plan Cache
Snapshot
Right-click on SNAPSHOT1 (the name of the snapshot you've just created)
and click on "Sentences" (not quite sure, but something like that)

3) Look for your job
Right-click and select Visual Explain

If you need more help point the dump_plan_cache to brand new library,
create a SAVF and I'll try to help

Good luck

No,
I'll be honest, I'm don't know how to do that.

Maybe that would be helpful.

Mike,

have you tried to take a Plan Cache Snapshot? You can get some useful
information from there

I'm going to start with the simple question depending on the results,
I may have a more detailed question.

I have a SQLRPGLE program that runs every night in batch. The results
of
which are not the same as when I pull the sql statement out and run it
interactively.
Interactively I get the correct results, in batch, I get records it
should be be picking up.

Is there any logical explanation for me to research as to why this
might happen?
