Hi Mike
First, some obvious questions
Have you run the SQL interactively at the same time that it is run in batch, with the same library list
You also say
in batch, I get records it should be be picking up.
I am assuming you mean
in batch, I get records it should NOT be picking up.
How do you know you shouldn't be picking up these records
Something in the result?

Subject: sql differences between batch,
I'm going to start with the simple question depending on the results, I may have a more detailed question.
I have a SQLRPGLE program that runs every night in batch. The results of which are not the same as when I pull the sql statement out and run it interactively.
Interactively I get the correct results, in batch, I get records it should be be picking up.
Is there any logical explanation for me to research as to why this might happen?
Mike
