I didn't like that "feature" of PC5250, so I adjusted my window thru trial-and-error until I found a size the worked for both display sizes. You might try something similar with iACS. Adjust the window on the 27x132 size and size how it looks for 24x80.

Subject: Client Access vs Access Client - 27x132 font size

One of the very 5250-specific features of client access is that it will change your window and make it wider when switching to from 24x80 to 27x132.  Access client, on the other hand, keeps the window size the same and significantly shrinks the font to make the extra characters fit.

As my eyes get older, I find that I much prefer the original client access behavior, and I couldn't find anything in the documentation that suggests how I  might configure it.  Has anybody else noticed this and perhaps identified a workaround?
