This may be true of any vendor but a former coworker is at a shop using
VAI.
They upgraded from 7.1 to 7.3. Some programs using OPNQRYF changed how
they work. After recompiling, etc, it was still an issue.
VAI sent them a fix.
The details are mentioned in a wiki article with the comment:
Note: These behavior differences are not included within the MTU document
because these are thought to be obscure and rare differences in behavior.

Basically it had to do with the change in OPNQRYF going from CQE to SQE
and RPG's INFDS. Scan that site for INFDS and you'll find it.
