For instance, I would like to be able to do an EDTOBJAUT ADDLST(NEWLIST)
command but there isn't any such beast that I can tell? Kind of like an
ADDOBJAUT, which also doesn't exist. Then I could put this all in a C/L
command that could be executed some night when no one is using the system,
such that it would go through and secure the files without having to do it
interactively.

Like the C/L Command could be something like:

EDTJOBAUT OBJ(FILEONE) OBJTYPE(*FILE) ADDLST(NEWLIST)

EDTJOBAUT OBJ(FILETWO) OBJTYPE(*FILE) ADDLST(NEWLIST)

.

EDTJOBAUT OBJ(FILE9999) OBJTYPE(*FILE) ADDLST(NEWLIST)

Obviously, the "ADDLST" parm is fictitious.

Is there an easier way to do this or how could I accomplish this?
Appreciate any ideas or suggestions.

George
