Does it matter if the process is initiated by IBM i or by Windows?

Techniques which immediately come to mind include:
- Using IBM i ACS data transfer to download to an intermediate format that
Access can then process. Formats include csv, xls, xlsx, etc but not mdb.
- Using CPYTOIMPF to create a file that Access could then import
- See if Access supports a jdbc, odbc or some other driver to access DB2
data directly. Been awhile since I've done Access programming.
