Haven't seen. It's a safe assumption that machines capable of running 7.3 that have an EOS date announced for the near future (think E4B, E4C) would probably not be included in plans for releases of IBM i down the road.

Subject: What models, if any, is IBM i 7.3 planned to be the end of the road for?

Has anyone seen a statement of direction like "IBM plans on IBM i 7.3 to be the final release supported on these models..."?

V5R4 was the last release to run on any machine which supported five versions of IBM i. Unless they plan on repeating that might that mean that any machine capable of running IBM i 6.1 may not run rNext?

I think it would be a nice budget planning statement for those considering Power 9 hardware. Might increase sales.
