Has anyone ever used the DST at your shop? If not, the user is QSECOFR and
the password is (case matters) QSECOFR.

You can also try 1111111 pwd 1111111

It's in Batch Restricted State. Go to the DST and get it outta that. Do a
search for Batch Restricted State for an IBM note about that.

I have tried to start the console from the HMC, It doesn't connect

Are there any gotchas with powering down the partitions?

Yes, there are options to restart or power down the partitions. You
can also do the whole server.

The network card probably lost connection to the network and is RCYPND.
You can probably start the console from the HMC and just fix the
ethernet line.

I have a system that is not reachable this morning.

According to the HMC I have '00000000' reference code

I can't ping the system

Long story, but we upgraded to V7R3 last weekend and had some job go
crazy that prevented the system save from kicking off at midnight,
and it kicked off around 9am

So again this morning I can't reach the system, but on top of that, we
need some network issues. These seem to be resolved, but I still
can't
talk to my system( Network and system are local on premise)

SO I'm wondering if I can force an IPL from the HMC or any other way
to force my way onto system. ?
