I'm using YAJL (https://www.scottklement.com/yajl/) for JSON.

Another helpful tool is a JSON verifier. Here's the one I use: https://jsonlint.com/

Subject: JDBCR4 to return JSON

V7R3

We have a service program that retrieves data from an external MS SQL server calling a stored procedure that works fine using Scott's JDBCR4 service program..

A new requirement would like the data returned form the existing service program to be a JSON string.

Currently the process receives each record and then retrieves each field from the record and populates a data structure which is returned to the calling program.

I have done very little with JSON to date and was looking for either an example or suggestions on the best way to achieve this.

Thanks for any suggestions
