That is being worked on to rectify that situation
Now I need to locate where this particular data is, now that it is on the AS/400

We need to know how the data was received. If via a file what code page is it.

If via a web interface how is your Apache config set up.

How did it get into the file and what code page s the file - etc. etc.

Clearly some translation is taking place or you would get different patterns and not just x'070707'.
