The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
If it's a plain 'ol CPU, it should apply like a PTF. BUT CHECK THE INSTRUCTIONS! There are levels between the MH* and the 'regular' PTFs that are important!
And installing the MH* PTF means you have to power down the system (RESTART(*NO)) and let the Service Processor process the PTF.
Command DSPFMWSTS (Display Firmware Status) will show you the status of the MH* PTFs, which is active and which is temporarily applied.

Subject: Applying firmware
We don't typically update firmware. I've downloaded MH01740 from Fix Central. Do I just apply it like any other PTF?
TIA
