Most of the PTF's are to deal with the issue for the OS itself: 7.1, 7.2,
7.3.

Many people have their "firmware" upgraded by the HMC, if they have one.
In fact, if you have a HMC and you have your firmware upgraded by the OS
instead of the HMC, you are a fool - plain and simple. The reason is you
could get your firmware at a level incompatible with your HMC.

On a machine with a HMC you had better see
Firmware update policy . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : *HMC

But the MH PTF's may be applicable to those machines with no HMC
