Eons ago, I picked up a tip from Elvis Budimlic of Centerfield Technologies
to retrieve STRSQL history from DMPSYSOBJ OBJ(ISQLST<usrprf>*)
CONTEXT(QRECOVERY) TYPE(19) SUBTYPE(EE), where <usrprf> is your user
profile name.

Since then, I've tweaked it so that the retrieved history is formatted into
one record per STRSQL display line, because the raw output from DMPSYSOBJ
isn't very usable.

This recovers all of your STRSQL history, including multiple sessions.
This has saved my tush many, many times.

If anyone is interested in the source code (CMD, CL, RPGLE), drop me a line
and I'll be happy to share.

Is it true that the QRECOVERY library is not saved during a full system

We just upgraded our machine to new hardware and migrated everything but
QRECOVERY didn't make it.

Not a big deal, except one of the things there is your SQL history.
