I have got the 7.3 PTF Installed (on most of our LPARS) but have not
installed the firmware on our P7+.
Firmware is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.

We saw a bit of overhead on our development lpar with the PTF installed
but only have 1 day of
performance data to compare. Again the firmware has not been upgraded yet.

Developers did not notice any slow down.

I have concerns around potential performance impacts.

I installed the firmware on my P8 the day after it was released.
I was quite up to date, so it was concurrent (no IPL).
I have not seen any performance degradation.
Mostly I/O bound; relatively little CPU workload.

I have not installed the PTF yet; I need another availability window so
I can IPL the machine. I'm wondering if that is where the performance
hit will come.
