Probably the "Last of the Mohicans" when it comes to a JS12 blade.....

Hearing nothing but crickets on my post about re-establishing mirroring on my IBM i partition that had a drive failure.  Here is where I am:

Replaced the drive with a new drive.

AMM shows that all is well.

IVM isn't reporting the overall virtual storage UI.  I have seen this before.  The IVM UI was always a little unstable.

I THINK I need to configure the drive in the storage module first.  It probably ended up with a different resource ID (guessing) and so I need to remove the old one and add the new one using the IVM.  Problem is that the storage modules are connected using a RAID controller, it is just the standard SAS connectivity module (no RAID) and all the instructions I find, both using the Storage Configuration Module (SCM) and the CLI point to instructions for the RAID controller, not the SAS connectivity module.

Once I get the changes made though the IVM I think I'll then be able to assign the resource to my IBM i partition and use SST to add it to the mirror...then resume the mirroring.  Or, at least, I THINK that is what I need to do.

Anyone gone down this path before?
