Yes we still see it. Many folks have not updated applications, even less
than OS levels.

I'm not advocating it mind you, just that we still see it.

way of identifying if LPP still being used

Why is 5733XT1 still used at 7.3 when I see this:

From the V5R4 MTU at
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/ssw_i5_54/rzaq9/rzaq9.pdf
XML Toolkits 5733-XT1 and 5733-XT2
The XML Toolkit 5733-XT1 will be withdrawn after V5R4. The XML Toolkit
5733-XT2 is the replacement
for 5733-XT1.

From the 6.1 MTU at
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/ssw_ibm_i_61/rzaq9/rzaq9.pdf
XML Toolkits 5733-XT1 and 5733-XT2
The XML Toolkit 5733-XT1 has been withdrawn in V6R1. The XML Toolkit
5733-XT2 is the replacement
for 5733-XT1.

5733XT1 is still used quite a bit even at V7R3, and remember there are
portions of that product that are open source, so while it's at end of
life
for IBM that does not stop folks from using it.

Journal usage of the objects.
Curious as to what they flagged. Like, I wonder if they flagged your
5733XT1 since that's been obsolete before you upgraded to 7.1

And part of me wonders if some of these are so old that exit points on the
DLTLICPGM will blow up because the programs aren't observable.
