#1) How did you fix it last week?

Basically there is a configuration setting which says whether or not to
scan your entire network upon startup and add those machines. Drawback:
Kiss of death performance wise.
So many people configure it to not do that. Drawback: You have to
manually add: MD '/QNTC/MYSERVER' to your startup, or anytime you want to
use it. See also:

This came from a CL program which takes a PDF version of our BRMS recovery
reports and stores them on three different geographically dispersed
servers.
It's ran every day.
