Hi Everyone,

Trying to get an ASCII transfer from a Linux bash shell, using SFTP. Just doing a simple "get /IASP01/QSYS.LIB/LIBNAME.LIB/FILENAME.FILE/MBRNAME.MBR". It comes down in EBCDIC, how do I specify ASCII? The system value CCSID is 37 (EBCDIC Latin 1 char western Europe I believe), and the user profile being used for the connection uses CCSID *SYSVAL. I tried changing this to 00367, but it tells me it's invalid.

Am I on the right track? Could I use an exit program to change the CCSID at the job level? Or is there something else?

Thanks in advance
