How do you tell what level of Perl is in there?
Resource Feature
ID Option Feature Type Library Release
...

5799PTL *BASE 5050 *CODE QAPTL V5R4M0
5799PTL *BASE 2924 *LNG QAPTL V5R4M0
...
Can you have your vendor come up with a version of their package compatible
with 7.3? Perhaps then it would use stuff out of 5733OPS.

I'm trying to find a copy of 5799PTL which has Perl 5.8 on it. A
well-known
OEM software vendor is having an episode over not having it. The system
is
at V7R3 and I have OPS installed but can't find Perl in there. If the
IBM
web site is accurate they dropped support for 5799PTL at V7R1.
Any help?
Thanks.
