Well ain't that something!

I tried to import my wildcard and it will not. I forget the error, I have slept since then.

I opened a PMR with IBM and they said: "NoCanDoBoss. Only way is to build a keystore with java on another platform and then import the entire keystore." But they did not have instructions on howtodothat.

And I am also on 8.8.6.2 Hmmmm.

I wish to absorb some of your magic.

Yes I got it into my HMC

Version:  8
Release:  8.6.0
Service pack:  2
Build level:  20170712.1
Base version:  V8R8.6.0

I forget how...
My next step is to export it from here and import it on to my other hmc to verify the wildcard feel of it.

But how did you actually get it into the HMC? And what version is your HMC?

Hey, I added a dns entry to dekko.com for hmc02 and that wildcard cert for
*.dekko.com works fine.
It just doesn't like hmc02.corp.dekko.com

Since our cert comes up for renewal very soon this would be the time to
ensure that it has both *.dekko.com and *.corp.dekko.com on the same cert.
