going back to your original question then, I think probably all you need to
do is cable a screen on port 0 device 0 change the setting to 1 as you
suggested and then IPL.

You are kind of swimming against the tide - this is the closes I could find

It would be pretty much impossible to put a twinax cable if there is no
twinax card.
The original post did not exactly make that clear (or I am a bit slow this
morning - quite possible) so I was trying to determine if there was

a card in there.
