I am not sure what you are getting at here; wrkdsksts will work fine even
on an unbalanced system so long as you look at all disk units.

Fwiw when an iasp fills up my experience is that the system will keep
running but you can't write to the ias, so all activity using it stops. You
can still delete stuff though as the system is still running.

So you shouldn't be blind-sided by an IASP filling up unexpectedly, or at
least any more than a system with a single storage pool exceeding
capacity.
