Been out for a few days.

On my 7.3 machine I pasted your sql. The ONLY things I changed were the
schema and the table.

select table_schema, table_name, sum(OPEN_OPERATIONS) as Open,
sum(CLOSE_OPERATIONS) as close,sum(INSERT_OPERATIONS) as wrt,
sum(UPDATE_OPERATIONS) as upd, sum(DELETE_OPERATIONS) as dlt
from QSYS2.SYSPARTITIONSTAT
where table_schema = 'ERPLXF' and table_name = 'IIM'
group by table_schema, table_name;

Huge numbers in Open and Close. Inquiries, SQL, etc will do that.

More new item numbers (writes 1,529) than I thought we would have had.
101,056,363 updates.
No deletes. Then again, how often does one delete item numbers? And in
most ERP systems their software simply flags it with an inactive record
code instead of a hard delete so as not to blow RI.

When was your last IPL?
