Fortunately it is the former! A 1 would mean that every block on the drive could be written every day for 5 years. So 10 means 10 times per day for five years.

Does that mean if it is a 1.2TB drive you can perform an average of 1.2TB

per day, over a 5 year period? I'm hoping it's not the latter.
