Exactly what does this mean?

Does that mean if it is a 1.2TB drive you can perform an average of 1.2TB
* 10 writes per day over a five year period? Or does it mean you can
perform an average of 10 writes, which can be as little as one character,
per day, over a 5 year period? I'm hoping it's not the latter.
Kind of like "Write Rarely, Read Many"?
