I tried that API and it gave me the same message. I'm going to get my
image catalogs moved to this machine and then I'll do the prepare
to see if I can set it to V7R3.

Let's assume they are using some option on that API that the menudoesn't
support. Let's also assume that the people who work on the menu and
fixpeople who write these instructions will not talk to each other and
the menu. Or maybe the menu is updated, but only if you have PTF
theyPTFand
such and IBM just simply got tired of reminding people to have that
youron. But basically, try the API directly, as instructed, and see if
instructionsresults differ.
After all it must be drastic enough that they put all these
into Knowledge Center instead of just fixing the menu. Remember,
typelanguages.have to translate Knowledge Center into a bazillion different

If I go LICPGM, prepare for install, then Allocate addtl space, I

That link is dead, but I'm searching the V7R3 manuals, haven't found
