If you WRKJRNA on the journal, does it show an attached receiver? How
about the number of journaled objects?
F17=Display attached receiver attributes, does it show anything?
F19=Display journaled objects and then use option 30. All object types, is
there anything?

I'm attempting to delete an old journal but the system won't let me. The
file that was being journaled was deleted several weeks ago. I've deleted
all the un-attached receivers with no problem. But the system thinks the
journal is still active, even thought the file does not exist.

The archive search feature is currently down, and I've Gaagled it but
can't seem to find a solution that works. I can't delete the journal
because it has an 'active' receiver attached, and I can't delete the
receiver. I tried detaching the receiver but that just creates another
one. I've tried ENDJRNPF but it tells me the file does not exist (which is
true). I even re-created the PF but that doesn't help because the 'new'
file is not being journaled.

Am I missing something obvious? I've checked IBM's info on journaling and
that doesn't help.

We're on 7.2. The file is DDS-created.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
