Set Option Commit=*CS as well as exec Sql Set Option Commit=*NONE

They take affect at run time but they are set (and can't be
changed) at compile time. These options take affect on a program-by-program basis and do not affect the options for other programs (such as STRSQL). Having said that, there are certainly some considerations on an activation group basis. For example, you don't want to be mixing the level of commitment control used within a single activation group. I have seen SQL complain about that.
